Welcome to the Twos room! Our Twos room is where children begin to gain more independence and experience a more structured day in regard to classroom instruction. Each week, the twos room creates lesson plans that center around a weekly theme.

Theme: Christmas Around the World

Monday: Today we’ll be visiting Germany and learning about the Gingerbread man. We will be reading “Maisy’s Christmas Day” and work on running skill.
​ Skill Focus: Art, Literacy & Gross Motor

Tuesday: Today we will be making poinsettias when we visit Mexico. We will also be singing “Deck the Halls.” 
      Skill Focus: Music & Art 
 
Wednesday: Off to the United Kingdom for bell ringing. We will be working on fine motor skills, holding markers.       
            Skill Focus: Fine Motor & Art

Thursday: Back to Germany for a little nutcracker fun! We will also be dancing and using magna tiles.

Friday: Happy Friday our destination for Christmas around the world will be the Netherlands where we will make Sinterklaas. We will also be singing the Netherlands Christmas carol.
